Data architect

Job type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work location: Remote

Develop data architecture documents;
Develop reusable processes, standards and architecture building blocks;
Translate high-level and detailed design specifications into data requirements
Conduct evaluation and analysis of source data and target configuration;
Assess data quality and consistency across multiple sources
Make recommendations for data cleansing and standardization;
Estimate data cleansing and integration efforts;
Estimate resourcing requirements;
Produce data models, metadata, data mappings and configurations;
Create data extraction, cleansing and formatting scripts;
Consult with reporting specialists and optimize data for reporting;
Assess master data management capabilities and opportunities and implement as required;
Collaborate with eCRM project teams and other development team
Develop eCRM data governance framework;
Provide eCRM data stewardship across client partners who are using eCRM;
Perform data literacy, education and outreach activities as required;
Consult with data services to ensure alignment with data management policies, guidelines and standards; and
Create and maintain data glossaries, data dictionaries and other documentation.

A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience performing data migrations in an enterprise environment;
A minimum of five (5) years of experience performing data management services in a development environment;
A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing data management standards and processes;
Extensive knowledge of defining and implementing data requirements;
Extensive knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes;
Extensive knowledge of developing data mapping and data flow diagrams;
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and relationship management skills; and
Experience working on eCRM implementation teams would be an asset.
